Congratulations to our Kickstarter Backer Contest Winner...

Jack O' Lantern welcomes our winner to the Pranksta 'hood!

Dawn Poganik! Thank you for your generous contribution. As the winner of The Halloween Pranksta's "Be a Character in the Movie" Contest, Dawn could be the face of one of the characters, but she's requested the honor go to her husband. Your wish is granted: congratulations to you both!

Also, in the coming weeks we'll have more exciting production updates heading your way as our director, Carl Paolino steamrolls into the next stages of the film.

About the Director

Carl Paolino is the mastermind behind The Halloween Pranksta. In addition to writing, producing and directing, Carl also has termite superpowers. He built the entire set of the film's suburban neighborhood in his New York City based studio.

Whether creating for feature films, television or commercials, Carl's resourcefulness and vision add magic to the mediums he works on. His stop-motion and puppet-design handiwork helped create the famous look for MTV's Celebrity Deathmatch. Carl also produced and directed a stop-motion TV series that later became Celebrity Face Off, a sketch comedy feature film for AMC.

One of the voices featured in that film was Mark Hamill (Star Wars, The Joker in WB's animated Batman series). Now Mr. Hamill will be voicing Bronte, a huge, talking tarantula and Beck, a python with hunger pains.

Surrounded by a small but mighty crew, Carl is excited to see production on The Halloween Pranksta taking off. We'll report production developments and other goodies on this blog as they happen. Stay tuned friends...
